Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
This policy explains what personal information Brighta Solutions LLC ("Brighta," "we," "us") collects through brightasolutions.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website and the forms on it. Work we do at a property is covered by the agreement or work order for that job.
The short version
- We collect what you send us through our quote and job application forms, plus basic technical data needed to run and protect the site.
- We use it to answer your request, quote and do the work, and review job applications.
- We do not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
- We do not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking cookies.
- You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing [email protected].
1. Information we collect
When you request a quote
- Your name and, if you represent one, your company
- Your phone number and email address
- The property address or county
- The service you need and your message
- Any photos you choose to upload
Photos can show more than the job itself. Where you can, please avoid photos that show people, documents or other personal information.
When you apply for a job
- Your name, phone number and email address
- The position you're interested in and your experience
- Whether you have reliable transportation to job sites
- Your résumé, if you attach one
We don't ask for your Social Security number, date of birth, driver's license number, bank details, salary history or criminal history on our application form. Please don't include them in your application or résumé.
When you call or email us
We keep the details you give us so that we can respond and keep a record of the conversation.
Automatically, when you visit the site
Like most websites, our servers record technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, and the date and time of your visit. Our forms also use an automated security check that looks at technical signals from your browser and connection (such as your IP address and browser details) to tell people apart from spam bots. In most cases you won't see it.
2. Cookies and tracking
We don't use analytics cookies, advertising cookies or social media tracking pixels, and we don't let third parties collect information about your activity across websites through our site.
Our website host and the security check on our forms may use a small number of strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies to keep the site secure and stop spam. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but the forms may not work if you do.
Do Not Track. Because we don't track you across websites, we don't change how the site works when your browser sends a "Do Not Track" or similar signal.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your quote request, inspect the property, prepare an estimate, and schedule and carry out the work
- To contact you by phone, text message or email about your request or job (your carrier's message and data rates may apply)
- To review job applications and contact you about them
- To keep the website secure and to prevent spam, fraud and misuse
- To keep business records, meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations, and protect our legal rights
We won't add you to a marketing list or send you marketing emails or texts unless you separately ask us to. If we text you and you'd rather we didn't, tell us and we'll stop.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal information only as needed to do the job or run our business:
- Service providers who work on our behalf, such as our website host, our security and spam-protection service, and our email and business software providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Our crews and subcontractors, when they need details such as the property address and a contact number to do the work.
- The client who hired us for the property, such as a lender, mortgage servicer, asset manager or property manager, when the work is done for them.
- Authorities or other parties when the law requires it, or when we need to protect our rights, our customers, or anyone's safety.
- A buyer or successor, if our business is sold, merged or reorganized.
- Anyone else, with your permission.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
5. How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it:
| Information | How long we keep it |
|---|---|
| Quote requests that don't lead to work | Up to 2 years, then deleted |
| Customer and job records | For as long as we need them to do the work, answer follow-up questions, and meet tax, accounting and legal record-keeping requirements (generally up to 7 years after the job ends) |
| Job applications and résumés | 1 year from when we receive them or make our hiring decision, whichever is later, then deleted. If you're hired, your application becomes part of your employment records. |
| Server and security logs | Usually no more than 90 days, unless we need them longer to investigate a security problem |
We may keep information longer when the law requires it or to resolve a dispute.
6. How we protect it
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypting information sent through our website (HTTPS) and limiting access to the people who need it. No website or email system is completely secure, so please don't send us sensitive information such as Social Security numbers or financial account numbers through the site or by email. If a security breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires.
7. Your choices
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we have about you,
- correct information that's wrong, or
- delete your information.
Email [email protected] or call (518) 423-5815. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and we may keep information we're required to keep by law. We aim to respond within 30 days. Some states give their residents additional privacy rights. Where those laws apply to us, we will honor them, and we won't treat you differently for using your rights.
8. Children
This website isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
9. Links to other websites
Our site may link to other websites, such as social media pages. Their privacy practices are their own, so please read their policies.
10. Where your information is processed
We are based in Albany, New York, and provide services in New York. Our service providers may store or process information in the United States or other countries, with safeguards appropriate to the information.
11. Changes to this policy
